Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel is an action role-playing game developed and produced by Interplay for the Xbox and PlayStation 2.[1] Released on January 14, 2004, Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel was the fourth video game to be set in the Fallout universe and the first to be made for consoles. The game chronicles the adventures of an initiate in the fictional Brotherhood of Steel, a militant religious organization that has come to power in a post-apocalyptic world. Both Interplay Entertainment and Bethesda consider the game to not be a part of Fallout 's canon because of its heavy divergence from the official Fallout timeline, and its poor reception.
